This blog is not only about Finnish puukko knives... but yes, I'm hooked on them! Scandinavian knives are one of the oldest and most traditional of knives still being used today. They are practical, razor sharp, have long edge retention, and are easy to sharpen... What else could you ask for a good tool?!

WoodsKnife new Bear Paw Leuku Puukko
Harri Merimaa's new Lapland leuku style hunting puukko knife. Beautiful combination of functionality and Nordic tradition. Handle is stained birch with reindeer antler, treated surface feels "rough" so it won't slip even when working in wet conditions. Blade is, as always, high quality carbon steel. Very pretty and practical knife to have on a hunting or camping trip!
